ONLY ONE MADE
Every rug in this collection exists only once in the world. The same pattern, the same color, the same knot will never be woven again. The master did not copy, did not repeat. Whatever was on the loom that day, that is what he wove.

The Story of This Carpet
The vase design originated in 17th-century Kirman workshops: symmetrical flower branches and the tree of life rise upward from a centrally placed vase. This composition is one of the most elegant iconographies of Persian carpet art and symbolizes abundance and continuity. Afghan artisans continue this heritage using Ghazni wool and natural root dyes; the double frame presents the composition like a miniature painting.
Why a Single-Piece Handwoven Afghan Carpet
- Uniqueness: Only one of this carpet exists; the same knot rhythm and dye batch can never be repeated.
- Durability of natural dyes: Unlike synthetic aniline, root dyes do not fade; they only soften over time.
- Ghazni wool: Long-fiber wool from high-altitude sheep with high lanolin content; provides natural stain resistance and silky luster.
- Asymmetric Persian knot: Finer detail resolution and sharper motif edges compared to Turkish (Gördes) knots.
- Investment value: Genuine naturally dyed Afghan carpets gain value through generations of use.
Color and Pattern
The petrol blue background is divided by a double frame; inside, tree of life branches symmetrically rise from a vase at the bottom, flanked by stylized boteh and orange blossoms. Cypress and leaf rows at the top and bottom complete the composition. Borders are framed with cream backgrounds featuring natural comb patterns and small palmettes.
Care Recommendations
- Clean with a brushless vacuum head on low power.
- Blot stains immediately with a white cotton cloth; do not rub.
- Rotate 180° every 6 months to evenly distribute sun exposure and foot traffic.
- Leave wet cleaning to a carpet specialist experienced with natural dyes.
This carpet is sold only once; no identical piece exists in any other home.

Protect Elegance
A delicate care routine should be adopted to preserve the original splendor and silky texture of handwoven and natural fiber Carpetdocia pieces that add value to your living space for generations.
Immediate Response and Liquid Contact
Timing is the most critical factor in case of possible liquid spills. Use a clean, slightly damp cloth to gently blot the liquid from the surface without rubbing. Always perform this action in the direction of the carpet pile (the natural lay of the fibers). Rubbing can damage the shape of delicate fibers like TENCEL™ and viscose. Stop the intervention immediately if you have any doubts.
Routine Care and Light Balance
Always prefer vacuum cleaners with low suction power in your weekly cleaning routine. High-powered upright vacuums and stiff brushes can damage the natural structure of handwoven yarns. To balance the reaction of natural fibers to light and prevent localized color differences (fading), we recommend rotating your carpet every 2 to 6 months.
Expert Touch (Professional Cleaning)
Noble textures such as handwoven, TENCEL™, viscose, and New Zealand wool should not come into contact with household chemical cleaners. These products can irreversibly damage the carpet’s silky shine and structural integrity. For deep cleansing, seek support only from professional carpet care centers specialized in natural fibers.
Washing Instructions
Delicate pieces in the Carpetdocia collections are not suitable for machine washing due to their structure. (Only specific models clearly labeled "Washable" in their name can be washed in household machines on a low heat and gentle cycle.)
